
Others Experiences: Looking into this some more I found these slides from Mad Hat Games which seems to reinforce my worries. My reservations may be based on out of date experiences so I should give it a shot really. I would prefer it was open source (Quick is but the Core isn’t) so the community could bug fix. I may try this one out - powerful and can be extended. However its hard to tell if this is the framework or the developers.

Quick is a good code swapping RAD environment.Seems good for getting up and running quickly - I cant see any great games made with it but good for first timers I reckon. Anecdotally people on line are saying bugs take a long time to fix.If something is not supported then your a bit stuck (unless you have the top tier account type I think).There is a free version which could be used for RAD dev.
