Housemarques arcade shooter Resogun was the first PlayStation 4 game I played and, a year later, I still think. The chaotic shooter, similar to its successor, Resogun, adopts a more three dimensional approach to the twin-stick control scheme and will support up to four players for split-screen and cooperative play. Looks like Resogun is also coming to PS3.

This iteration of the title will release on December 23rd, 2014. Housemarque simultaneously announced an upcoming patch that will add new challenges to all existing game modes. As of now, little is known about the expansion’s content except that it features two new game modes–“Protector and Commando”–new ships, and all new planets.
Anyone who purchased the Resogun season pass will receive the added content for free. The expansion will cost $4.99, and is set for an early 2015 release.
